singing/writing/drawing/living/dreaming & other things that avoid actual work
Anonymous:   God I can't imagine the number of these kind of messages you must have been getting. Anyways here's another one(that will probably be the victim of a mass-delete). Saw Spring Awakening this afternoon - amazing production, the set design was gorgeous. Loved your Left Behind. Unrelated note: Is it just me or have the ticket sales bee rather uh... sucky? I would really hate to see this show close at a loss. Love the cast, love the production, love the show. Have a great (rest of the) run! :)

Not at all! I’ll have you know I read through every single one of these! Whether or not i reply, depends on how un-lazy I feel heh. ANYWAY, thanks so much, I’m very happy you enjoyed the production, it means a lot that you came down and gave it a shot (:

And I dont know for sure whether or not there has been a profit/loss, but all I can say is, ticket sales can ALWAYS be better! Its difficult for us I guess, because Spring Awakening isn’t a well known show, neither does it have well known actors. So the local audience would naturally not give it too much attention (you know how much Singaporeans love their familiarity). It also hurts to say, but some people don’t wish to watch it based on the fact that its a local production, and that we wouldn’t do a Broadway-musical justice. These views don’t just hurt me, but local arts as a whole.

NONETHELESS!! I’m glad to say that those who have come to watch, have been more than happy with their experience with us. Some have even come back twice! (some thrice!) So, hopefully if the word spreads and more awesome people like you open their hearts and minds to a show like this…Spring Awakening could very well become the little show that could!

Wow that was unexpectedly lengthy.
